Verizon Employee Agrees to End Suit Over Investor’s Alleged Rape

Verizon Media Inc. and a female former employee agreed to the dismissal of her sexual harassment lawsuit alleging she was raped by a male “business acquaintance” of the company while on a work trip, San Francisco federal court records show.

The woman, who sued under the pseudonym Jane Roe, and Verizon Media filed a stipulation with the US District Court for the Northern District of California June 10 stating “this matter shall be dismissed with prejudice.”
