House Democrats are pressing the Department of Homeland Security on whether the agency plans to bolster school security initiatives in light of last week’s mass shooting in Uvalde, Texas.
Democrats on the House Homeland Security Committee sent a letter Thursday asking DHS whether it plans to expand upon the agency’s existing school security programs, including Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency safety resources and a Secret Service prevention training program.
