USCIS to Allow Late Fees From Immigrant Investor Enterprises

US Citizenship and Immigration Services will accept late fee payments from immigrant investor enterprises, ending a court fight and uncertainty over the continued authorization of scores of entities backed by immigrant funds.

The agency notified roughly 100 EB-5 regional centers this year that it planned to terminate their approval to participate in the investor visa program over unpaid program integrity fees, lawyers said, prompting legal challenges over the decision.
