USCIS Rolls Out Latest Phase of Premium Processing for Visas

US Citizenship and Immigration Services is adding final phase visa fast-tracking options for certain foreign workers, as authorized by a 2020 stopgap funding bill.

The agency announced Thursday it will allow multinational executives and advanced degree holders seeking a green card without an employer-sponsor to apply for premium processing of new I-140 immigrant worker petitions, a key step in the permanent residency process.

That option allows employers or immigrant workers to pay an additional $2,500 for expedited adjudication of immigration benefits. The latest premium processing options would ensure cases are adjudicated in 45 days, rather than the 15-day time frame ...
