USCIS Refunding $55 Million from Defunct Immigrant Parole Option

US Citizenship and Immigration Services is issuing refunds to the tune of $55 million to thousands of immigrants who applied for relief from a parole process for US citizens’ undocumented family members.

A Texas district court judge ruled in November that the Biden administration’s Keeping Families Together program was unlawful, blocking a pathway to permanent residency for roughly half a million immigrant spouses of American citizens.
