A bevy of new fees for immigrant benefits imposed in the sweeping GOP package of tax cuts and new government spending will be added to existing Department of Homeland Security charges.
Payment for existing DHS fees and those added in the law (H.R. 1), must be submitted separately, US Citizenship and Immigration Services said in a Federal Register notice released Friday. No waivers or exemptions will be available for the charges created by the multi-trillion dollar law.
