USCIS Chief Urges Congressional Action on Documented Dreamers

Providing relief to a quarter million young immigrants at risk of aging out of legal status while their parents wait for permanent residency is ultimately up to Congress, US Citizenship and Immigration Services Director Ur Jaddou told lawmakers Wednesday.

Jaddou answered queries from members of the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration Integrity, Security, and Enforcement about wait times for work permits and other benefits as well as fraud in parole programs.
