The departments of Homeland Security and Labor for the first time will issue the maximum number of seasonal, non-farm work visas in fiscal year 2023 following the publication of a rule authorizing their release.
The agencies on Monday circulated the temporary final rule, which will nearly double the available H-2B visas for the fiscal year by adding 64,716. Those visas will supplement the regular 66,000 annual cap set by Congress.
