US Beats Wheelchair-Using FBI Accountant’s Disability Bias Case

The federal government defeated a lawsuit alleging disability bias against a former forensic accountant who used a wheelchair and faced accessibility issues at the FBI field office where she worked.

The ex-accountant waited too long to pursue administrative remedies for most of her disability discrimination allegations, so the claims based on earlier incidents can’t go forward, the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania said. The worker’s timely claims also fell short, the Tuesday ruling granting summary judgment to the government said.
