UPS will limit its buyout program to 7,500 drivers nationwide as part of a settlement agreement with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.
The buyout offer, known as the Driver’s Choice Program, will be offered to a limited number of workers based off of seniority, the Teamsters said Sunday. Long-haul feeder drivers and regular package car drivers will be eligible for the program under the settlement, according to the union.
