Unresolved Home Health Aide Wage Deal Sent for New Look by Panel

A $1.3 million overtime settlement is in doubt after an appellate court ruled Wednesday that it isn’t clear if a home-care agency and its workers actually meant for the unfinished deal to be binding.

The parties signed a memorandum of understanding, but the document “expressly left a number of issues open and unresolved,” the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit said.
