More than 35,000 workers at the University of California are threatening to strike as they say the institution has engaged in “bad faith” bargaining.
The American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees Local 3299 union, which represents service and patient care workers at more than 10 campuses and medical clinics, said Thursday 99% of its membership voted to authorize a work stoppage.
