Unitil Energy Service Workers Exempt From Overtime Pay Rules

Electricity and gas workers at Unitil Corp.'s service subsidiary are administrative employees exempt from overtime pay requirements, a federal court in New Hampshire ruled.

The Department of Labor can’t proceed toward trial in its suit against the New England energy company’s unit, Chief Judge Landya B. McCafferty said Wednesday for the U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire.
