United Airlines Settles Revenge-Porn Suit for $321,000 (1)

United Airlines Inc. will pay $321,000 to settle a sexual harassment lawsuit in which the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission alleged a pilot repeatedly posted online lewd images of a flight attendant without her consent. The settlement also requires United to amend its policies to ban online sexual harassment.

The flight attendant’s coworkers and United passengers saw the images, in which the pilot and captain, Mark Uhlenbrock, used United’s slogan, “Fly the Friendly Skies.” The posts included the flight attendant’s name and home airport, the agency claimed in the lawsuit filed in a federal court in San Antonio, Texas.
