United Air Reaches Tentative Agreement With Mechanics’ Union

United Airlines Group Inc. and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters reached an agreement in principle for a new contract that would raise wages for 10,000 mechanics and other workers, the carrier and union posted online Thursday.

  • Accord would boost pay retroactive to Dec. 4, and again on Jan. 1, 2022 and Jan. 1, 2023, according to a copy of the agreement posted on the IBT local website
