UPS Contract Closer to Completion

A national contract covering about 230,000 United Parcel Service employees could be finalized in the near future, with a crucial vote by Teamsters locals now scheduled for April 28.

The workers have been waiting since October for the contract—and the pay increases that would take effect under the agreement. The pact can’t be implemented until all local union supplements are ratified. That’s the vote scheduled for the end of the month.
