SeaWorld Joins Raise Wave

Another group of Orlando, Fla., theme parks raised workers’ starting wages—part of a ripple effect since Disney announced a pay increase three months ago.

SeaWorld Entertainment Inc. increased the minimum hourly wage Dec. 10 at its three Orlando parks from $10 to $11. The company said it’s “continually evaluating our pay rates” to stay competitive. A spokeswoman declined to comment further.
