Nationals of Ukraine and Sudan currently in the US will be able to remain through at least April 2025 under a Department of Homeland Security extension and redesignation of Temporary Protected Status for those two countries.
Ukrainian and Sudanese individuals who have been continuously present in the US since Aug. 16 will be eligible to apply, according to Federal Register notices released Friday.
The new TPS designations will last from Oct. 20, 2023, through April 19, 2025.
