Members of the United Food and Commercial Workers “overwhelmingly” ratified a three-year contract with Rite Aid Corp. Oct. 7-8 that covers about 6,000 workers in Southern California, a union official said Oct. 13.
The contract includes annual hourly wage increases for retail clerks, pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. It also improves their health and pension benefits, UFCW officials said.
