UBS Settles With Ex-Strategist Who Claimed to Be Whistleblower

UBS Group AG resolved a 14-year-old lawsuit by a former senior bond strategist who claimed he was wrongfully fired for blowing the whistle on pressure he faced to slant his reports.

Trevor Murray first sued the Swiss bank in 2012, alleging he was fired after telling supervisors that traders were pushing him to publish misleading reports favorable to their products and positions. The case went to trial and then twice to the US Supreme Court.
