United Auto Workers President Shawn Fain wrongfully retaliated against a top union leader when he accused her of mishandling the union’s investment fund, according to a court appointed monitor.
Fain and his office “deliberately” trumped up false charges of wrongdoing against Margaret Mock, the union’s Secretary-Treasurer, and tarnished her reputation, Neil Barofsky, an attorney at Jenner & Block, said in a new status report he filed Thursday.
