U.S. Workers Are ‘Fed Up’ After Covid, AFL-CIO’s Shuler Says

America’s strike wave shows workers are “fed-up” and willing to fight for better paying jobs, AFL-CIO President Liz Shuler says on Bloomberg TV.

  • Many workers have been “working overtime, time away from their families, and they come to the bargaining table, hoping they get a fair share of the return they have created for these companies, and they are shown the door, she says”
  • About 30,000 nurses are “on the precipice of a strike,” according to Shuler
