The Department of Homeland Security will add 20,000 extra H-2B seasonal guest-worker visas for hiring through the end of March, the agency said Monday.
The new visas will be allocated on top of the annual cap of 66,000 for the H-2B program. It’s the first time DHS has added to that cap during the first half of the fiscal year, the agency said.
