U.S. Soccer Must Keep Fielding Women’s Equal Pay Class Action

Alex Morgan’s pay discrimination class action against U.S. Soccer Federation Inc. will keep moving even as a separate panel decides whether to fold in a separate case filed by goalie Hope Solo.

But that decision from the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation could take months, Judge Gary Klausner said April 30 for the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. He denied U.S. Soccer’s motion to stay the proceedings while they wait “in the interest of justice and judicial economy.”
