A U.S. House hearing on the status of OSHA’s proposed Covid-19 emergency temporary standard has been postponed.
The April 30 hearing before the Workforce Protections Subcommittee of the House Education and Labor Committee was postponed Wednesday, two days after the Occupational Safety and Health Administration forwarded the rule to the White House’s Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs for a review.
An OIRA analysis is typically one of the last steps before a final rule is enacted.
The hearing could be rescheduled pending the results of OIRA’s review, a committee aide told Bloomberg Law.
