Trump’s new travel ban: Who’s affected

TENS OF THOUSANDS of tourists, students, and business travelers from 19 countries will be fully or partially barred from the US under a travel ban that’s the most recent addition to the Trump administration’s growing slate of restrictions on immigrants and foreign visitors, Andrew Kreighbaum reports.

  • The ban affects Afghanistan, Chad, Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Myanmar, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen. It partially limits entry, including temporary visas, for Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan, and Venezuela.
