Trump’s Agency Reorganization Plans Coming Feb. 12, Union Says

Federal agency reorganization plans will be released Feb. 12 along with the Trump administration’s fiscal year 2019 budget proposal.

That’s from Jill Crissman, legislative director for the National Treasury Employees Union. The NTEU is concerned that the plans will include large cuts to agency budgets, Crissman told reporters Feb. 7 during the first day of the union’s annual legislative conference.

The budget request, like last year’s, most likely will call for cuts to both agency budgets and federal employees’ pay and benefits, NTEU President Tony Reardon said in a speech to union members.
