Trump to Make Move on Retirement Security (1)

President Donald Trump will sign an executive order Aug. 31 that will make it easier for small businesses to join together to offer employees retirement savings.

The order will help the Trump administration advance policy “to promote programs that enhance retirement security and expand access to workplace retirement savings plans for American workers,” a White House spokesman said in an email.

Trump will sign the executive order while visiting Charlotte, N.C., the White House said. Labor Secretary Alexander Acosta and Small Business Administration head Linda E. McMahon will attend the Aug. 31 event at a conference center in the city. ...
