A Senate committee May 15 approved Dale Cabaniss to lead the federal government’s HR office, setting up her nomination for a final confirmation vote by the full Senate.
Cabaniss, President Donald Trump’s pick to lead the Office of Personnel Management, faced questions during a May 7 hearing about her tenure as chief of the Federal Labor Relations Authority from March 2001 to July 2008, which corresponded with a decline in employee engagement scores as measured by the nonprofit Partnership for Public Service.
