President Donald Trump nominated Marco Rajkovich to join the Federal Mine Safety and Health Review Commission, according to a notice made public Tuesday.
Rajkovich previously served as the chairman for FMSHRC during Trump’s first term. Before joining the commission he was a lawyer in Kentucky and worked for the U.S. Steel Mining Company, Inc..
If confirmed by the Senate, Rajkovich would be a member of the independent body that administers trials and hears appeals of mine safety disputes until 2030.
