Trump Labor Department Kicks Off Wage and Hour Regulatory Work

The US Labor Department is advancing a handful of new proposals updating federal wage and hour rules, some of the first major regulatory moves by the agency in President Donald Trump’s second term.

The White House budget office received three proposed rules from the Wage and Hour Division, according to its website, including proposals to change its child labor and tip-credit regulations as well as wage rules for domestic service workers.
