Trump Blasts New Jersey Wind Farm as Hopefully ‘Dead And Gone’

President Donald Trump said he hopes an offshore wind farm planned near the New Jersey shore is “dead and gone,” an apparent reference to the newly approved Atlantic Shores South project.

The declaration on Truth Social, coming just days after Trump indefinitely banned the sale of new offshore wind leases and halted federal permitting of such ventures, is the latest indication the president’s moves against the fledgling US industry could extend to already permitted projects.
