The Trump administration is asking an appeals court to take another look at a federal judge’s order reinstating Susan Grundmann, the former chair of the Federal Labor Relations Authority.
US District Court for the District of Columbia Judge Sparkle L. Sooknanan ordered Grundmann back on the panel in March, finding that her firing was unlawful and enjoining the administration from removing her until the end of her term in 2027.
Justice Department attorneys filed their intent to appeal the decision to the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Thursday.
