The Trump administration will cease operations at 99 Job Corps centers, suspending job training programs for 25,000 low-income adults across the country.
Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer on Thursday directed all contractor-operated Job Corps facilities to pause operations by June 30, citing the cost of the program and safety for participants.
