An Iowa trucking company could legally grant wage increases to just its nonunion workers because it imposed a fair condition on giving the same pay bump to its unionized employees, a divided National Labor Relations Board ruled.

10 Roads Express LLC’s requirement that an International Brotherhood of Teamsters local give up the right to bargain over future changes to the pay increase didn’t qualify as anti-union discrimination, an NLRB panel said in a 2-1 ruling July 14.
