Outwest Express and American One Source agreed to pay $90,000 to settle a sex discrimination and retaliation charge involving an employee at the Kansas City, Mo., terminal, the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission said Tuesday.
A female recruiter was allegedly fired immediately after she complained that her boss treated her differently from male employees because of her sex, in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, according to the EEOC.
