A former Sam’s Club employee sued the retail warehouse chain saying she was mistreated because of her transgender status and fired when she complained.
Charlene Bost says she was harassed by colleagues who referred to her with male titles and pronouns after she began expressing her female gender identity more openly in her makeup, hairstyle, and clothing choices. She was subjected to sarcasm and epithets, including one colleague who referred to her as “that thing” and another who called her “that little faggot,” her lawsuit says.
