Trader Joe’s Heads to Trial on Ex-Manager’s Retaliation Claims

A jury must decide whether a Black Trader Joe’s Co. manager was fired for having a conversation about guns on the sales floor, or in retaliation for filing a race discrimination lawsuit that received local media attention.

Trader Joe’s said it decided to fire James Jarmon before the Philadelphia Magazine article on his lawsuit came out.
