Top Labor Lawyer Denounces Constitutional Claims Against NLRB

National Labor Relations Board General Counsel Jennifer Abruzzo said she wouldn’t change the way her office litigates unfair labor practice claims amid a surge of legal challenges alleging that the agency violates the US Constitution.

“Their goal is to stop us from doing our jobs,” Abruzzo said at a speaking event hosted by the National Press Club Tuesday."We’re trying to hold violators of our statute accountable and when you have these deep corporations that would rather spend money fighting and litigating versus providing workers with better wages or better benefits, it is truly a distraction.”
