Private-sector workers made modest overall gains in access to paid family leave over the last year, with the top 10% of earners benefiting the most.
Data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics released Sept. 19 reveal that 18% of private industry workers receive a paid family leave benefit, up from 16% in 2018 and 13% in 2017.
