Thompson Hine Ex-Income Partner Partly Advances Sex Bias Row (1)

A former Thompson Hine LLP income partner can pursue some claims in a lawsuit alleging she faced sexual harassment and a hostile work environment during her time at the law firm, a judge said Monday.

Lawyer Rebecca Brazzano adequately pleaded that she faced years of sex-based mistreatment and retaliation for speaking up, the US District Court for the Southern District of New York said. However, some of her retaliation allegations fell short, and she can’t pursue defamation, abuse of process, or negligent infliction of emotional distress claims, the opinion said.
