Sept. 22, 2020, 5:01 PM

It’s 2020. So it’s an understatement to say that we’re in a time of unprecedented change. But it’s true, particularly in the legal profession.

Law firms and corporations are looking to the future, thinking about their strategies for succession planning and how to fully integrate the next generation of lawyers in their ranks. At the same time, they’re examining anew issues of diversity, inclusion, and equity against the backdrop of a national conversation.

Here at Bloomberg Law, we’re looking ahead as well, specifically at the next generation of lawyers who will take the reins in various practice groups.

And it’s with the future in mind that we’re excited to present a look at five young up-and-comers who are making a splash, winning big cases, conducting high-stakes investigations, and changing the landscape in various practice areas. For the first installment of our new series, we start in labor and employment, spotlighting young lawyers: Nicole Wiitala of Sanford Heisler Sharp; Andrea Lucas of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher; Jocelyn Cuttino of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius; Laura Iris Mattes of Outten & Golden; and Danny Rosenthal of James & Hoffman.
