ActBlue LLC, a major fundraising platform for Democratic candidates, continues to accept untraceable cash gift cards as donations after it told Congress it had stopped that practice in 2024, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) said in a new lawsuit Monday.
Investigators in Paxton’s office donated gift cards of small amounts to the Democratic National Committee and two Democratic candidates in February with “donations going through without a problem,” the petition filed in state court said.
