Texas Lawsuit to End DACA on Hold Pending Supreme Court Decision

A lawsuit over the legality of former President Barack Obama’s program for young, undocumented immigrants is on hold until the U.S. Supreme Court issues a decision in a line of cases trying to stop the current administration from ending it.

The challenge to the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program led by the state of Texas involves many of the same issues that are in play before the Supreme Court, said Judge Andrew Hanen of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
