Texas Ambulance Service Settles EEOC Sexual Harassment Lawsuit

Lone Star Ambulance, based in San Antonio, Texas, has agreed to pay $90,000 in damages and furnish other relief to settle a sexual harassment and retaliation lawsuit, the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission announced Friday.

Two female employees allegedly were subjected to repeated sexual harassment by people in executive management and supervisory positions, forcing one employee resign, according to the EEOC. The other employee was fired after rejecting the advances of a supervisor and complaining about the harassment, the agency alleged.
