The complaint, filed Wednesday by the National Labor Relations Board regional director in Buffalo, accuses the electric vehicle manufacturer of maintaining an unlawful workplace rule that prohibits workers from recording, using email, storing and sharing information, and creating distribution lists unless it’s for work purposes.
According to an NLRB spokesperson, the regional director said Tesla used the rule to “discourage its employees from forming, joining or assisting the union or engaging in other concerted activities.”
