Tesla Worker Gets to Use ‘Me Too’ Proof at Race Harassment Trial

A black, former Tesla Inc. employee may call three other workers, including his son, to provide “me too” evidence backing his allegation he faced a racially hostile environment in the company’s Fremont plant, a California federal judge ruled.

Owen Diaz contends he frequently heard the n-word and other slurs during his nine months as a Tesla elevator operator and team lead. A racist drawing that resembled bigoted cartoons from the 1920s and 1930s contributed to the racial harassment, he says.
