Tesla Seeks to Move Mass Layoffs Suit From Court to Arbitration

Tesla Inc. urged a Texas federal court to send a lawsuit by some former employees accusing the company of unlawfully failing to provide advance notice before it axed about 10% of its workforce out of court and into arbitration.

  • Tesla filed a motion to dismiss the suit and force the plaintiffs to arbitrate the dispute, stating in a court filing on Thursday that those terminated signed offer letters with “valid and enforceable arbitration provisions”
