The Tennessee Valley Authority and a chemistry laboratory technician who said he was required to submit to medical exams and fired because he uses Marinol for anxiety and depression have settled his disability discrimination lawsuit, federal court records show.
Alex Hixon and the TVA filed a stipulation of dismissal Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee. The case should “be dismissed with prejudice, with each party to bear its own attorneys’ fees and costs,” they said.
