The Trump administration plans to end temporary humanitarian protections for more than 350,000 Haitian immigrants in the US next year after an earlier attempt to terminate relief was thwarted by a federal court.
A Temporary Protected Status designation for the country will expire after Feb. 3, 2026, the Department of Homeland Security said in a Federal Register notice released Wednesday.
